So Famous Dave's. I thought I had reviewed this months ago but realized with my last visit I had not.
So a few months about, the Jear (my husband) and I wandered into Daves. We had not been there is years. Still I don't know what took us so long to get back. On this visit, they had JUST that day rolled out their Ribeye steak. Wahhh? Ribeye in a BBQ joint? Yes!! It's wood roasted in a fire pit (I think that's how you describe it) then when getting ready to be served, it's grilled. I always order my steaks Med Rare. My god! Order it! Hands down it is the best steak in this town and I've eaten Ribeyes everywhere. I cat it up before taking the first pick just so you can see the quality of which it was cooked. I promise, if you like Ribeyes, you will not be disappointed. Note: only served on Friday and Saturday and while supplies last.
Now this week, we went back. Yes again, the Jear and I. That is the last picture. Although on a Friday, it was just 11:30 so steak were not ready (bummer!), but I got the Buttz Ends (which where in a raspberry bbq sauce and topped with candied peppers. Omg who has candies peppers? Yum!! Order extra!
Bottom line is you can't beat Famous Dave's. Not on Service, not on price and definitely not in the delicious food they serve!!
Go try them out!! I can promise you will not he disappointed! -

Famous Dave's is one of my favorite franchise restaurants. I tried the ones in many cities and the one in Louisville is great too. Very friendly staff and good service. I will definitely come back for more.

Famous Dave's is pocket go to for our family. I absolutely love the burnt ends. Very and melt in your mouth. The ribs are good but are hit or miss at the location we go to. Last night they were tuff but other times they're fall off the bone. The jalapeño Mac n cheese is always good and you cannot go wrong with the bread pudding for dessert. We've came before just for the bread pudding. Hope you enjoy.

Overview: decent price, decent food, variety of sauces. Clean environment, inattentive staff
The food was just okay, I got a burger though so I can't attest to the actual BBQ. The different sauces were all good and tasted like their name implied except for the devils spit and Wilbur's revenge which are supposed to be very spicy but we're not spicy to me (although I have a higher tolerance to spicy). The staff did not come to our table very often which was frustrating. The staff paper towels are already on the table which I always hate though. -

The Louisville team was AMAZING at our wedding. We absolutely love the food but the catering manager was the one who sold us on using them for our wedding. So when she changed careers, I had a few concerns with making sure everything was going to go as smooth. The new catering manager was on top of every detail and the staff the evening of the wedding was one of the best I've ever seen. They went above and beyond and made sure it was presented well, hot, the tables were set properly, bussed on time, cleaned up, literally everything was taken care of for us. Thank you!!!
